The Winter House, designed by by Sergey Makhno Architects is made of concrete, glass and wood. it looks fragile and weightless, but actually able to withstand all the world and even more. An ascetic shelter is built on stark contrasts. It combines plain lines with complex multifigured elements, small sizes with gigantic ones. Smooth transitions go from one space to another. The client is a Ukrainian artist, who spends a lot of time on the road and likes the ascetic way of life. This house is an embodiment of the character and client`s personality. He ordered the project in September 2015. It will be realised till the end of 2017.
