The Brisa House, designed by FCstudio, reimagines modern living by integrating design, sustainability, and innovation. With its vertical structure and expansive sea views, the residence prioritizes connection with its surroundings. Large windows and strategically designed balconies frame views of the ocean and lush greenery, offering residents an immersive experience with nature.
Natural materials and advanced technologies ensure the house is both visually appealing and practical. Sunlight and salt resistant features increase durability while simplifying cleaning and maintenance.
Innovative Lighting and Functional Spaces
A key feature of Brisa House designed by FCstudio is its innovative use of materials and adaptive design principles. The tensioned canvas light fixture, spanning eight meters, does more than illuminate, it transforms throughout the day, reflecting the changing colors of the sunset and adding an artistic dimension to the interiors. In the gourmet area, practicality meets elegance with a layout designed for entertaining. This space includes a sink, a dry bar for bottle organization, wine coolers, and storage drawers, offering a refined and functional setting for hosting gatherings.
Artistry in Design
Art plays a significant role in the Brisa House, with standout features like the Rosso marble wall in the living area. This elegant backdrop showcases a work by Brazilian artist Bechara. A sliding panel conceals the television, allowing the space to shift effortlessly between entertainment and relaxation. Complemented by a fireplace, the room becomes a place for comfort and conversation.
Designed as a space for sea observation, the rooftop seating arrangement ensures an uninterrupted view of the ocean. One of the standout pieces is a side table crafted from a ship propeller, topped with glass, which pays homage to maritime aesthetics.
Thoughtful Furniture Integration
The Brisa House features bespoke furniture, each piece thoughtfully crafted to align with the residence’s philosophy of natural integration. The Awapé sculpture by Hugo França, with its organic forms and corten steel base, integrates into the garden, increasing the dialogue between architecture and nature. FCstudio’s Equilíbrio table, with its cantilevered metal structure, balances a five meter long top, inspired by the elegance of a ballerina.
Similarly, the Libélula table draws inspiration from dragonfly wings, with its delicate legs and amorphous marble top contributing both lightness and personality. The Onda sideboard, based on the São Paulo coastline, features curved doors shaped from Krion material, reflecting the meeting of waves and sand. The Haste lamp, designed by Flávio Castro, illuminates sculptures with minimalist precision, while the Stonehenge table embodies raw simplicity, crafted from leftover construction materials and inspired by the iconic Neolithic structure.
Sustainability Meets Innovation
Throughout Brisa House by FCstudio, the emphasis on sustainability complements its architectural ingenuity. The project uses durable materials to increase longevity. It incorporates elements like solar-resistant finishes and natural stone. These choices ensure the residence remains resilient over time. These choices demonstrate a balance between aesthetics, functionality, and environmental responsibility.
