Prada’s impressive new address in Saudi Arabia is located in Jeddah and it is the result of another collaboration with Roberto Baciocchi Architecture practice. The indoor space while designed according to the already set formula of PRADA retail aesthetic, is matched with exterior design marvelously celebrating the spirit of the Middle East. PRADA Store in Jeddah is located at the renowned El-Khayyat Center taking on the scope of almost 400 square meters offering both men’s and women’s collection by the label.
The angular external façade, of remarkable visual impact, is wrapped up in a white metal curtain conceived as two staggered elements. Black Marquinia marble volumes frame the display windows, the light boxes and the external entrance to the store devoted to women. The opposite façade inside the mall features another entrance to the area dedicated to women as well as the entrance to the store for men, keeping the two spaces separate. The entrances and display windows, clad in black Marquinia marble, are enhanced by a large canopy extending over them. – from PRADA
