This innovative design is tailored specifically for an esteemed international IT company, showcasing ZIKZAK’s prowess in creating functional yet visually striking work environments. The client was tasked with the redesign of an existing working environment, with the goal of creating a modern office space that caters to the needs of top management. In anticipation of a future relocation, the team has diligently prioritized the allocation of the project budget, recognizing the significance of this decision. The designers were faced with the challenge of preserving as many existing elements of the premises as possible. The primary objective of the project was to design a distinguished office space that would cater to the company’s leadership, all while making the most efficient use of the remaining fragments from the previous layout.

In response to the evolving demands of contemporary functionality and aesthetics, the previous office space underwent a profound metamorphosis. The spatial composition, previously characterized by an abundance of intricate elements and a subdued lighting scheme, underwent a transformative process, resulting in a refined aesthetic that exudes luminosity and clarity. The designers skillfully retained numerous original elements, seamlessly integrating them into the redesigned interior. Notably, the exquisite travertine flooring, elegant wooden walls, and carefully curated lighting were all thoughtfully incorporated, paying homage to the space’s rich architectural heritage. The chosen approach not only effectively optimized the allocated budget, but also exemplified a profound reverence for the historical significance of the space. With a meticulous approach akin to that of archaeologists, the designers have artfully preserved fragments of the old architectural layers, seamlessly integrating them with contemporary elements.

The premises exude a sense of tranquility and sophistication through its overall design. The previous wooden walls, reminiscent of facade panels, have been tastefully updated with contemporary paneling, while still preserving the timeless appeal of the original wooden material. In a striking juxtaposition, certain walls were intentionally left in an unfinished state, showcasing a pristine white aesthetic. This deliberate choice engenders a captivating contrast that emanates an air of refined conservatism, evoking the timeless allure of the iconic black and white color scheme. The design of the reception, waiting area, and lounge zones revolves around strategically placed focal points, creating an ambiance reminiscent of a sophisticated gallery. The meticulous attention to detail further enhances the overall premium aesthetic. The functional and aesthetic qualities of the decorative partition effectively delineate the transit zone from the reception area, while also providing valuable shelving capabilities. The receptionist’s desk, boasting ample space, has been adorned with a glossy finish, thereby augmenting the visual perception of spaciousness within the room. The inclusion of abstract paintings in the waiting area imbues the space with a gallery-like ambiance, reminiscent of a dynamic and ever-evolving exhibition.

The office boasts the inclusion of contemporary and aesthetically pleasing Framery Phone Booths, which offer a private sanctuary for conducting professional discussions, free from any disruptive external sounds. Additionally, these booths provide the convenience of reserving specific time slots for important phone calls. The overall layout comprises a total of six booths, each meticulously designed to cater to the needs of the employees. Among these, four booths have been thoughtfully crafted to provide a private and focused environment for individual use. Additionally, two generously proportioned booths have been ingeniously designed to comfortably accommodate two individuals, fostering collaboration and synergy. The booths boast cutting-edge features such as state-of-the-art wireless charging stations and seamlessly integrated automatic height-adjustable desks.

Adjacent to the vicinity, a captivating hybrid mobile open space has been thoughtfully positioned, boasting the remarkable ability to seamlessly metamorphose into a spacious meeting room. By strategically tailoring the space to accommodate specific functions, optimal utilization is achieved. The workstations possess a remarkable versatility, allowing for effortless reconfiguration to accommodate various requirements and aesthetic preferences. Alternatively, they can be seamlessly interconnected, resulting in the creation of a generously proportioned conference room. The office boasts the inclusion of cutting-edge mobile Lintex writing boards, thoughtfully designed with sound-absorbing back panels for enhanced functionality and acoustics. The utilization of comparable design approaches has also been observed in the implementation of work zones within the open space environment. The desks are thoughtfully furnished with Lintex desktop screens that boast exceptional sound-absorbing properties, ensuring a harmonious and focused work environment. The design effectively mitigates noise levels, thereby fostering a conducive and comfortable working environment.

The Suprema FaceStation 2 facial recognition system provides a robust solution for safeguarding the office environment while enabling efficient access control measures. In addition, the office boasts a comprehensive video surveillance system that has been strategically positioned to provide complete coverage of every nook and cranny within the space. The architects skillfully capitalized on the office’s elevated position on the 17th floor, offering a captivating vista of the sea, to fashion an exquisitely inviting conference room. The terrace has been elegantly adorned with full glazing, allowing for an immersive experience that seamlessly merges the indoor and outdoor spaces. A meticulously crafted meeting room has been thoughtfully incorporated, offering a breathtaking panoramic vista of the picturesque coastline. In order to optimize the auditory experience within the space, it became imperative to augment the acoustic properties, given the prevalent utilization of glass elements. In order to enhance the auditory experience within the space, the design team incorporated ornamental acoustic panels and incorporated textured sound-absorbing inserts into the partitions.

The kitchen has been thoughtfully designed with a deliberate use of darker tones, resulting in a striking color contrast that seamlessly draws the attention of employees towards it. This particular technique serves as a catalyst for the seamless shift between a productive and serene state, allowing individuals to effortlessly transition from a focused work mindset to a state of relaxation. To enhance convenience and accommodate various preferences, our design incorporates both traditional seating options and bar tables, ensuring versatility in the overall layout. The dining area provides a picturesque vantage point, allowing occupants to enjoy the serene ambiance of a cozy terrace while being captivated by the rhythmic ebb and flow of the sea waves.

Through a skillful manipulation of the existing structure, the talented team at ZIKZAK Architects has ingeniously transformed its elements, resulting in a remarkable shift in both functionality and aesthetics. The previously outdated office space, lacking in functionality for optimal productivity, has undergone a remarkable transformation into a sophisticated and forward-thinking environment tailored specifically for the company’s esteemed top management. This remarkable metamorphosis has been achieved through the meticulous application of skillful design elements, resulting in an elegant and innovative workspace that is sure to inspire and empower the organization’s leadership.
