The AHZ House in Londrina, Brazil, designed by ZIZ Arquitetura relies on bright pops of color and natural light to infuse life into the minimalistic contemporary setting. The interior of the home is shaped by a wonderful use of contrasting materials like bamboo veneer, cement, black lacquered finishes in the kitchen and a hint of stainless steel. A welcoming living area with an overdyed rug in purple draws your attention as the kitchen and dining space become an extension of this large ‘family zone’. Comfort and an ambiance that promotes interaction between the family members were the two defining factors that created this Brazilian home. The aim of the architects was to create a truly international atmosphere indoors, even while subtly incorporating features of local design. Modern decor pieces that blend into the backdrop.
