S-CAB presents So Quiet, a collection that encourages a slower pace, inviting individuals to pause, take in their surroundings, and embrace moments of stillness. Designed for both indoor and outdoor spaces, the collection turns everyday environments into places where time feels unhurried and intentional.
As a company constantly evolving through research and innovation, S-CAB shifts the focus to what is often overlooked, the pleasure of slowing down. Through carefully designed furniture, the brand creates spaces that offer comfort, whether for quiet solitude or shared moments with others.
A Setting That Reflects the Concept
To bring this vision to life, S-CAB chose a lakeside villa and its surrounding outdoor areas as the setting for So Quiet. This environment improves the collection’s ability to shape spaces that encourage relaxation and presence.
The selection of furnishings includes the Brezza collection by Alessandro Stabile, featuring a sofa, lounge armchair, and coffee table. The Flap modular upholstery collection by Meneghello Paolelli adds flexible seating with a chaise longue, armchair, and pouf. Other standout pieces include the Malvasia seats by Francesca Lanzavecchia, Mentha chairs by Archirivolto Design, the Atomo coffee table by Spalvieri & Del Ciotto, the Hyppo coffee table by Meneghello Paolelli, and the Mimosa vases by Ionna Vautrin.
Brezza: Comfort and Sustainability in Outdoor Seating
Since 2024, the Brezza outdoor seating range has expanded with a new lounge armchair and two-seater sofa. These pieces maintain the same approach as the original design, with cushions that attach to the frame without glue, buttons, zippers, or Velcro. This feature allows for easy removal and replacement, supporting a sustainable approach. The collection also includes a low coffee table with two large slats, available in concrete or HPL.
Flap: A Modular System for Flexible Living
The Flap collection, known for its modular structure, introduces three new elements: an armchair, pouf, and chaise longue. Designed to offer versatility, these additions allow users to customize their seating arrangements for different spaces and needs. The collection retains its signature features, including a minimalist metal frame and flap-like supports, which create a structured yet comfortable seating experience.
Malvasia: A Play of Light and Shadow
Designed by Francesca Lanzavecchia, the Malvasia seat brings a sculptural quality to outdoor spaces. Its perforated metal structure projects delicate patterns of light and shadow, reminiscent of woven fabric or the dappled light beneath tree branches. Despite its minimal form, the design process was complex, requiring the backrest and seat to be crafted from a single perforated and curved metal sheet, then subtly welded to a tubular frame. Malvasia’s double-curved legs add a touch of lightness, while optional armrests and cushions provide additional comfort.
Mentha: A Nature-Inspired Design
With its leaf-inspired silhouette, Mentha pays homage to natural forms while incorporating an eco-conscious approach. The chair, designed by Archirivolto Design, is made from certified recycled plastic, making it a sustainable choice for both indoor and outdoor settings.
Atomo: A Table That Adapts to Any Space
The Atomo coffee table, created by Spalvieri & Del Ciotto, is designed to fit into a variety of spaces while serving as a central focal point. It features a lightweight yet sturdy aluminium frame, with a die-cast base that connects seamlessly to the table legs. A balance between refined aesthetics and advanced production techniques results in a contemporary piece that suits both interiors and outdoor settings. A wide range of colors and finishes ensures adaptability across different environments.
Hyppo: A Playful Take on Coffee Tables
Inspired by the hippopotamus, the Hyppo coffee-table series brings a sculptural yet playful element to both indoor and outdoor settings. Its aluminium legs, large and curved, contrast with the thin, irregular tabletop, which is crafted from colored laminate. Available in various heights and diameters, Hyppo tables can be grouped together to create layered arrangements. The matte color palette includes shades such as ochre, crimson, quartz green, and petroleum green, allowing for a mix of complementary tones.
Mimosa: Vases That Bring Nature Closer
Designed by Ionna Vautrin, the Mimosa vases introduce a sculptural yet delicate presence. Their fluid shape and gradient tones resemble the connection between a flower’s stem and petals. Whether holding wild or refined floral arrangements, these vases emphasize the beauty of nature in everyday spaces.
