World renowned practice Henning Larsen Architects designs yet another project in Riyadh, this time a building for the new Institute of Diplomatic Studies commissioned by Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The new building will house a massive auditorium, lecture halls, library, classrooms and a large hall for visa applications. While the facade dominates the design, it also serves as a perfect shelter from the Sun, wind and the harsh climate, it is specifically designed for the conditions present in Riyadh.
