On December 4th, 2024, FENDI reopened its redesigned boutique in Miami’s Design District. The store now spans over 6,700 square feet and features two levels showcasing Women’s and Men’s leather goods, accessories, and ready-to-wear collections. The design combines FENDI’s Roman heritage with Miami’s distinct vibrancy, incorporating the city’s lively energy and iconic color palette while staying true to the brand’s signature style.
A Grand Facade Inspired by Roman Architecture
The boutique’s facade features four prominent arches inspired by ancient Roman design, paying homage to FENDI’s origins. Custom-made, three-dimensional glass bricks in varying shapes and depths mimic the fluidity of ocean waves, creating a captivating display at night by reflecting the city’s lights. An exterior gallery, adorned with light pink tiles customized with the FF logo, complements the facade. Surrounded by lush tropical greenery, the gallery includes secluded lounge areas that invite guests to relax in an outdoor space alive with Miami’s dynamic spirit.
A Journey Through Roman and Miami Influences
Inside, the boutique greets visitors with a sophisticated presentation of Women’s leather goods and accessories. The flooring, made of geometric Patagonia and Travertine marble, draws inspiration from the Roman marble patterns at the Temple of Venus, which also served as the setting for FENDI’s Couture Fall/Winter 2019-2020 show. Hand-tufted carpets reflect the curving path of the Roman river Tevere, translated into Miami’s pastel colors of green and pink.
Furniture on the first floor includes Jia Chairs by Atelier de Troupe and a Universe Round table by Arda Yeniay from Studio Twentyseven Gallery. Ribbed travertine walls, detailed with archival FF logos, are paired with champagne metal finishes and walnut wood accents.
Artful Design and Roman Elements
A standout feature is a custom-designed display table by Roberto Sironi, featuring inverted arches crafted from Rima marble. The material extends to an art installation by Sironi that incorporates FENDI’s iconic Selleria stitching, a hallmark since the brand’s inception in 1925. This yellow marble detail connects the first and second floors.
A Luxurious Second Floor Experience
The second floor offers an inviting space with the same marble flooring as the first level. Hand-tufted rugs in shades of blue and green add a vibrant touch. The Menswear collection is displayed in champagne metal and Patagonia marble settings, contrasting with ribbed travertine walls. Seating areas feature high-design furniture, including pieces by Emmanuelle Simon and Studio Twentyseven Gallery.
In the Women’s area, a handmade vetrofusion glass wall serves as the central feature. Two elegant arches within the wall reflect the boutique’s exterior design. Display tables from FENDI Casa improve the space, along with bespoke seating by Alter Ego and Charlotte Biltgen.

A Private Space for Exclusive Clients
The boutique’s private VIC room features gradient curtains that transition from pink to ivory. The space is further accented by a stainless-steel wall. FENDI Casa furnishings elevate the space, creating an atmosphere of refined luxury. A custom concrete art piece by Italian artist Edoardo Piermattei brings a distinctive Italian touch to the Miami setting.
