BUENOS AIRES 04 is the latest competition coming from AC-CA, the aim of this International competition is to design a New Contemporary Art Museum in the Heart of Buenos Aires. Read more after the jump:
A Contemporary Art Museum is a building or space for the exhibition of art, usually visual art. Paintings and scupltures are the most commonly displayed art objects; however, drawings, collages, prints, photographs and installation art including other artistic activities, such as performance art, land'art, web art to name a few are also regularly shown.
Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina and is located on the western shore of the estuary of the Río de la Plata. Being an important economic center, its architecture is a combination of different styles which gives it a unique architectural beauty.
Note: this is an open international competition hosted by [AC-CA] to generate progressive contemporary design ideas. There are no plans for the Contemporary Art Museum to be built.
