NL Architects have designed a pavilion solely dedicated to bicycling, Amsterdam based creatives shaped a solution with a rooftop cycling arena supported by a glass enclosed cafe on the ground level. Having in mind the tropical climate of Hainan's location as well as the heritage, the building is covered with an oval protruding canopy in a modern way reminiscent of a traditional pagoda.
