Located within the protected shoreland of Blåvand, the future museum finds a unique architectural expression merging with the untouched nature and landscape of western Jutland. The museum is embedded within an earthen embankment built by the German forces during the World War II occupation of Denmark and is adjacent to the existing Tirpitz bunker.
